“The fitness community has become such a big part of my life. I’ve been consistently lifting since 2014. I started Powerlifting in 2016 and since then I’ve been able to achieve an International elite total under United States Powerlifting Association, as well as hold state records. Aside from Powerlifting, I train and compete in Brazilian Jiujitsu, which I started in Nov 2021. I also enjoy traveling, trying new foods, new wine and new coffee. I’m super stoked and excited to be a part of The Barbell Dream and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this team. Let’s go!”

Gaynor-Metzinger
Athlete
My name is Sarean, and I am a competitive 52kg Powerlifter and Ph.D. student in Exercise Physiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When I am not in the lab, teaching, or training, I love movement in general whether it is a hike out on the Appalachians, climbing, sometimes even cardio, or just taking my dog Kilo out for time to play. My goal for this year is to maintain a level of being in the present by being intentional with my time, relationships, and faith.

I have been powerlifting since the end of 2019 as a 52kg/56kg lifter, and I spend most of my free time exploring new restaurants, bars, and cities with my friends. I am passionate about balancing the sport of powerlifting with my other hobbies, and I am excited to continue growing and sharing my interests with this team and others around me!

Kindley Dill
Athlete
I am a Powerlifter that’s making the move up to 82.5kg and a student at the University of South Carolina, that was born and raised right up the road in Greenville, South Carolina. I love to travel as much as I can, especially getting to experience different gym communities with that, and working on personal development. I know that as a team and we have big things coming in the near future, and personally can’t wait to see just what’s in store.
